I am new to flying rc airplanes, and enjoy it very much.
I will be stepping up to a bigger plane and heli also.
What is a good radio transmitter for stepping up and
what is the difference between 7-8-9 channel radios ?

Thanks for the reply Robby.
Right now i'am still learning to fly
with a PT 40 trainer. I want fly a
Lanier Extra 300S,Staudacher GS300 and
Raptor 90 hilo.If I got all these rc crafts I don't
want a bunch of radios for each one. I want
one good radio for the crafts and that will
keep up with the market.
My dad told me when I was a young pup to
buy nothing but the best and you'll be happer.
What do you think ?
I like Chev's .....

My Feedback: (18)
Given the info you have provided looks like you should be able to do with only two TX's..
I use Futaba and am not as familar with what the others offer as I should be..
The FUT 7C comes as a 7CA and a 7CH.. This is an excellent entry radio which should last
you quite a while.. The 9Ca and 9Ch cost a little more but offer a lot more in features.. Given
the current way things go the 9C's should be good for you for a good ten years before you
might want to upgrade... You can check the tower hobbies site for varius listings.. You can
also check out servocity . com for listings and they have good pricing..
I have been using the FUT 6XA and 6XAs for last ten years and am now looking to upgrade into
the 9CA .. I will still keep one of the 6X's as I like to have two TX's an on different chnnls..
Your Father is correct.. Get more than you need now, as you will grow into it later and where
it may cost more now overall it will cost less in the end.. The couple hundred dollars now will
be well spent during the next ten years..
