Default Question for AOL users

I have RCUniverse set up to e-mail me when a new post appears in any thread I am active in.

I just switched to AOL and now the link to the thread in the AOL e-mail isnt clickable. Is this something I can change within my AOL mail preferences? Or, is this just how it is with AOL?

Default Question for AOL users

Tech support here...let me look into it. I think aol has some "weird" syntax that we use on the registration email but not the subscribed email forms.

Let me see if I can add it there and we'll test it out.

If it happens again forward the email to me...may be another template I have to add the link to but won't know until I see it.

Now somebody move this thread into the problems forum!

Marc,

Today I got a few e-mails from RCU for threads that I wasnt involved in. Those e-mails didnt have the Aol link.
Also, I got a couple e-mails for new threads in forums that I moderate and those as well didnt have an AOL Link.

I have gotten a few more "notification of new thread" and none of them have had the AOL link. Can you guys think of why?

There is probably a template I overlooked...I have to find it and insert the custom aol code in it...on the threads you received notice are you sure you never posted anywhere throughout the thread? Also, were those emails generated in forums you moderate? If so I think I know why...

Marc,

Yes. I am sure I never posted to a couple of those threads.

The "new post in...." are for forums that I moderate. Those are the ones without the aol link.

which forums are you receiving those emails in that you moderate...I can turn that off I think since you check manually all the time...I think it is probably set to notify on those forums for you.
