Hi,
None of the features work in my 'Ad Description Editor' in Step 3 of posting an Ad. The buttons highlight when I hover my pointer over them, but nothing happens when I click on them.
I'm pretty sure this has something to do with why nothing happens when I click on the 'Next' button to try and go to Step 4 too?
This is getting very frustrating. Because I got stuff to sell, but no way of posting the stuff!
I miss the old style description window where you just typed what you wanted it to say, and it actually worked. [

Anybody have any ideas? Is this a JAVA problem?

I just logged in to your account and ran through the ad creation tool. Everything worked fine and I was able to go all the way through step 5. I have however heard of one other person who had the same problem a couple of days ago. What web browser are you using? Version? Do you have a pop-up blocker installed? If so, what flavor and version? Even though we do not use pop-up's in that tool, do you have the blocker configured to allow RCUniverse.com?

O/S: Microsoft XP Pro (Service Pack 1)
Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer
Version: 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030618-0119
Popup Blocker: Popup Ad Filter
Version: 1.1 Build 412
I just added RCUniverse.com to my Popup blocker Whitelist, and it didn't help (just as I thought it would). Since I can click the 'Next' button on each of the previous pages without any problems. All my settings are unchanged from when I use to place ads before (in the previous format). The only difference that I can see is the new 'Ad Description Editor'. Is this a JAVA feature? Is there any features that must be installed, or turned on, to use this editor or proceed to the next page?
Thanks for trying...I just hope you can think of some more ideas?

Try clicking the "Source" button on the editor to trigger the pure text field. It is Javascript.
By the way, when step 3 loads, wait a second for the page to blink. Then, try to click in the editor. You may not be letting the entire page load....

Thanks again for trying to help me out, but I still can't get past step 3.
I tried clicking on 'Source', waited for a LONG time to make sure that the whole page is loading, and I made sure that everything related to JAVA was checked off in my Internet Options...But I still get a message in the bottom line of explorer that says 'Error on Page' when I try to click the 'Next' button.
I've posted for years without any problems, so I know my problem has something to do with the most recent changes that were made to the Ad Description Page. Is the Editor Window the only thing that has changed, or was the whole code for this page redone?
Got any other ideas?

I will try to work in a hack. "Java" settings have nothing to do with "Javascript" or "Active Scripting". Those need to be enabled. Still, I'll try to come up with an alternative.

Thanks Michael!
I just think it's funny that I don't have any problem clicking on the 'Next' button for step 1 & 2. It's only on the 3rd step that it doesn't seem to work for me?
Could it have anything to do with any of my Security settings? Because I have many of these features 'Disabled' in my browser (like all of my ActiveX settings).

Give it a try now. This type, click the "Basic Editor" button that now appears atop the editor box. This will take you to a simple editor box without losing any information.

I just got it to work...looks like it was ActiveX related. You must have changed something on that page? Because I've always had all my ActiveX settings 'Disabled', and never had a problem before.
Oh well, I'll just have to remember to 'Enable' them whenever I place an ad.
Thanks for the help Michael!
