Default Website redirect

Ok I post very high end trades of non RC items for rc items. If you check we put gigantic lots at times.I am not much into the computer so here and a few other places I list things. Now I wanted to post about $25,000 worth of DJ equiptment and mixers and effects units for guitars etc in the non RC area for trade for RC related stuff.I have trades at that level your aware of this .Thats mostly the level we trade at.I log on get ready to post and I am redirected to a kangaroo site. Now I only want to trade for RC stuff. What am I to do go to another site for this where I have not built large trades as of yet nor have big trades in my feedback?I have given people thousands worth of stuff for hundreds at times.I only want RC stuff for it or I would just have someone sell it on ebay as most do from the stuff they get from me.What is the deal with this kangaroo redirect? I pay for my ads here if you check I make sure when we list large lots of like 10 top end guitars and stuff we make sure we pay for a few of the ads we run around $20 to $50 when we run about 5 or 10 ads.I also am a paid member.I do not get this.I do not like a redirect as I never abused the non RC item catigory and always made sure you guys got some money for the trouble by makeing them premier ads or whatever the thing is that keeps them at the top.Everyone was happy about the listings I would do and others.I only go to sites my brother has approved and this is one of them but Kangaroo is not and I do not want my email on a massive mailing list by what my brother calls a spider program that can search that site.I do not see many people tradeing anything for RC items on kangaroo. This was our primary RC site what other RC sites offer non RC trades of high value and are safe or is something wrong here with my settings? The only use I would have at this site would be a purchase maybe 1 time a year now.I am sure I am one of the few that are beside the obsticle but why not make a paid only non RC section for trade. We spend a few hundreed a year on the non RC trade section and I am sure others do also.Is there an answer or sister site that offers this that people like JXXX are connected to and own and I feel safe at that is RC related?I am not sure I really like this now and I also bought my plasma off of the non RC and the wife a watch. If you can JXXX email me whats up here and where to go now that my feedback will follow of high end trades.I will not do the kangaroo they are not RC related in any way shape or form. Thank you

Kaango.com is RCUniverse.com's sister site. It is owned and operated by the very same people who own and operate RCUniverse.com. The same privacy policy is in place on Kaango.com that is present here. Your email address will not be sold, given or in any other way provided to anyone without your express written permission so you do not have to worry about receiving spam due posting ads over there.

The decision to remove the Non-RC category wasn't made to punish anyone, but more to return RCUniverse to it's core interest area. That being RC.

What Kaango.com offers to buyers and sellers alike which RCUniverse.com does not is a massively more expansive group of potential buyers/sellers to make a transaction with. Instead of your ads only being seen by the relatively small RC community, they will be exposed to several of the largest newspaper classified markets in the country with more coming online all the time. Isn't it to your advantage to get as much exposure for your ad as possible? Take a look at the site, I think you will find it very familiar in usage as RCUniverse was used as it's template. If you give it a try, I think you will be surprised with the results.

Thanks John I know business is business.Congrats on the new site.Ill pass.It was convienient to do both at 1 place thats all. Ill just deal with Rc stuff here but find another RC related site for non RC items in trade.I like staying in the small groups rather then dealing with a bunch of strangers acrost the nation.I am sure there would give me more ad exposure but then I might as well list it on ebay or something. It feels more comfortable in smaller communities like this as a member because we regulate what we do.You have been a major part of many feeling comfortable here and have personally delt with alot of issues for all of us as a group when we requested and shown provence.Ill stick to the smaller schene like this I think. I feel more comfortable knowing the people I regularly deal with and makeing friends while we deal. Its easy here for me to ask a few people about somebody rather then flipping a quarter. Its great to have a gigantic site like that and like I said congrats. If you can John just pull this thread I do not think it will be constructive on what you guys are trying to do.Thanks again

Thanks for your feeback. if it seems the overall demand is here on rcu to locally host the non-rc stuff rather than posting free on kaango and being seen on dozens of major newspaper classified websites as well then we will offer both options. I have not heard much noise just yet on this issue so we'll see if members seem for or against this and we'll act accordingly.
