This morning i had 190 some posts, and tonight I have 114. Where the **** did my posts go?

Once every few months the old posts in the swap shop are removed from the database in what we call pruning, which in turn affects post count. The swap shop is the only section that is pruned, and only the old posts are removed. It's done for many reasons, but basically to save space, money, and to keep things working as fast as possible at RCU.
