Default Java Script error

While browsing the For Sale pages, each time I change a page or click on an ad I get a Java message.

"Java Script error

Description: Object doesn't support this action:" Then a URL address, then "Line 216"

It's been driving me crazy!

Try disabling Java Script debugging in your internet browser. In Internet Explorer, the option is at Tools > Options > Advanced, scroll down to Browsing and you will see the option to disable script debugging.

Are you running any 3rd party security applications such as Norton, e-Trust, McAfee, etc?

Has this always happened since you joined the site or is it a recent problem? If it is recent, what was the last thing you installed or updated on your computer before the problem started?

I'm running Avast and AVG. It has always done this.

Check both of those applications to see if they are blocking Java Scripts.

I shut down both systems and it still comes up with a "Java script" problem. The classified ads on this forum are the only place this happens.

Tell me this, when browsing the market, if you slide your mouse over a picture of an item or its title, do you see a little pop-up post-it type note?

Default RE: Java Script error

This morning I got a message that java had updates so I installed them and did a restart. I just tried the classified and it has finally stopped. I don't know what the problem was but whatever the update was, it cured the problem.

Thanks for the help and suggestions!
