Default Mistake in Rating user

Hello,
I posted an item for sale, recieved an offer and accepted the offer. I just clicked through the lines and forgot to change the shipping line (the buyer offered my asking price shipped). The buyer didn't contact me for 2 days over which I attempted to contact him. I knew that he had been online because I saw his feed back over the days. I rated him "POOR" for non communication and cancelled his bid. I recieved an email almost immediately that he wasn't happy and didn't feel it was right that I would rate him POOR and claimed I had attempted a "bait and switch", He also posted a reply to my sales ad to that effect.
Several emails later it's clear that we both made a mistake. He thought I was trying to rip him off (for $5 in shipping..sigh....I lose more than that to my kids just getting home from work), and I thought he was jerking me around by not responding/completing the sale.

Basically we've both agreed that it was a mutual mistake. Here's the problem, Because I cancelled his bid I don't have any way of editing or changing his rating. any help? PM please.
Jermo

If you wish to post feedback, you must leave the offer as accepted.

I deleted the feedback in question so that both yours and the buyers accounts are clean again.

FYI..if you go back and re-rate somebody on a transaction your new rating and comments replace the old one's automatically. this way in a case like this if you decide a rating or comment wasn't accurate or the situation changed you have the ability to simply update the rating and it replaces the original. you can do this as many times as you want and I Think the time limit is 90 or 120 days.

Go to the Ratings & Security page. Enter the members user name you wish to post an updated rating for and enter your new rating. The new rating will replace the already existing one as long as it has been less than 180 days since the offer was accepted.
