RCUniverse does not offer auction style ads. All ads posted in the marketplace are Classifieds. We used to offer auctions, but the take rate was very low and when polled the majority of members stated they would rather do away with auctions and stick with a straight classified format.

How do I post a "make offer" ad? It is required that I put in a price I am selling a beat-up gas engine that I have no clue with it is worth! I would like to not have a price on it. Is this possible?

All items posted must include a price. I'm sure you have some idea of what you would like to sell the engine for so that is what you should post as the Asking Price. But, you can leave it open to offers as long as you do not solicite offers for more than your stated asking price, and you are willing to accept an offer, if one is posted, for the stated asking price.
