I regularly scan through the radio FS and specifically have been searching for receivers in the past months. Recently (in the past week or so) when doing the search for receivers it never finds anything no matter if in titles only or not, sold or unsold or all, radio forum or everything - nothing, zip, nada. Now I know there are receivers in there- the second item is a receiver in the title. My method has not changed and the spelling is correct and the same with autofill, so what's happening?

I am not sure which page you are using to search. Please give me link of page you are searching on and exact term which you are using to get results that is not working. I will try and duplicate.
I tried receivers on the market homepage and advanced search and got many results just now

I am in the RC Classified > Radio Equipment, quick search on Receivers. Always get Sorry, there are no listings that match your search. independent of whether search is limited to titles or radio equipment.

I tested it there and got about 8 listings for 'receivers' keyword and 2 pages for 'receiver' with quick search and titles only on. if I remove titles only I still get more results. If I say to search in receivers only I also get many results.
what browser and os are you using and which versions. I cannot duplicate this and have no other reports of this
what does it say you searched for on the top of the results page. it should show a keyword like this
"You searched for: receiver (within any miles of your location)"
<br type="_moz"/>

I am using Win XP SP3 and Firefox 3.0.16. Before about a week ago, it worked perfectly for me and I got results as you describe. Now I consistently get nothing and the phrases.
"You searched for: receiver (within any miles of your location)"
"Sorry, there are no listings that match your search."
Clearly there many receivers in the listings but it's finding none for me. Any suggestions?

Try an upgrade to firefox 3.5.6 www.firefox.org
Also make sure your filters are not limited.
also you can drill right into the receiver category instead of searching. On RCU we have both browse and search so a keyword search here is redundant in many ways since you can browse into the receivers category directly

Thanks for the responses, Marc.
I tried Firefox 3.5 a while back and thought it was slower than 3.0.16 but they have made some updates since then, so I may give it another try. Not sure what you mean by "limited filters". How would Firefox options affect RCU search characteristics?

Sorry..did not mean firefox options...just meant the search filters on rcu on the left side.
I wanted you to upgrade in case the old firefox was not passing along the search variable correctly for some reason. Also a firewall issue could be present but that is a long shot.
