Default problem with one batt, new maxamps order

Hi Guys,

I received my Lipo order yesterday, and my first 7.4V 6000ma charged (TP 1010c w/210 Bal) in only 30 mins, max current set to 6A but it charged at less than 2A for the whole duration. Kind of strange...

Sencond pack charged at 6A for most of charge taking an hour.

Is my first pack bad?

Also, can I attempt a 3C charge with the TP1010c? I guess it wouldn't be a full 3C since that prob exceeds what the charger will do. TP claim their batts can take it while using their balance, but though I'd check first. 1C is pretty good, 6 amps, no prob.

Thanks

As long as you are balance/charging and each cell is being "watched" individually durring the charge then it should work fine. I am not sure what was going on with your first pack. Maybe give me a call Monday and we can talk more about it. The number here is 888-654-4450
