Default HV versus mah

Simple question. While browsing maxamps.com I note that many batteries have HV after the capacity instead of mah. What is the difference?

I tried doing a search but it seems 'HV' is too short to search with.

Cheers,

~James

It's real simple it's just the name of our packs. For example our 2100HV pack is a 2100 mAh pack but we call it a high voltage pack because of the high amp draw that it can take and sustain. HV and mAh are not the same so please do not confuse them with each other.

Thanks for the reply, Jason

That was contradictory. A 2100mah is the same as a 2100HV but don't equate the two because they are not the same (?) So a HV pack has a higher discharge rate and the same overall capacity ? Please explain. I am an engineer so I can handle the technojargen. I am not trollin, just a newbie.

It's just the names, it's how we chose to name our 20C packs. A 2100mAh pack named 2100HV is a 20C 2100mAh pack. Most Companies put 2100mAh 20C on there packs........We put 2100HV.

OK Then. That makes perfect sense[sm=thumbup.gif] Some of the discharge are really impressive!

Thanks again,
