Well, Estes still is at it, and check out Tower Hobbies at the link at the top, they have a lot of rocket supplys.

I always liked Centuri myself, the Bay has them if you can and like bidding.

I buy my Estes stuff online from Tower Hobbies. I recommend the Big Bertha.

If there is a Michale's store near you, they may have a rocket section.

RC4sale just google rockets or try rocketryonline.com there are some clubs in MN that you should check out !!! Go to a TRIPOLI sponcered launch and get to know some of the locals you would not believe whats out there.

My last project was going Mach 3.1 until there was a glitch http://www.rockethigh.com

Fliskits are nice and they make some strange and pretty kits. I like the 'Corona' model with booster stage.

Very helpful had stuff shipped to uk specially, (thanks Jim)

Where abouts in MN are you? I'm from central WI and have been going to launches in MN for a while. The launches I attend most often are the MASA group, http://www.mn-rocketry.net/masa/. MASA is a NAR group which caters more towards the low end, but also has some high power flights. They're located in the twin cities area. There is also a Tripoli prefecture in the twin cities area, http://www.tripolimn.org/. There's another Tripoli prefecture a little ways south, http://www.tsmrockets.com/. I've never been to that one myself.

Estes 6 foot rockets are the way to go cause their skill 3 and they have power to fly at least 1000f if you have a desent engine placed in it.

Hobby lobby (the craft store) has their kits 1/2 price every once in a while, keep an eye on the paper. Fat Boy and Bull Pups are always a fun model. I have let my kids put a payload in the Fat Boy. Army men with parchutes are pretty cool.
