Just put a DJI controller with RTH and GPS on the quad It is amazing to say the least figured i would post for those looking to step up.

hi there have read there are many great things this unit is capable of.
one of them being a return home feature if you loose tx signal
have you tried this out and is it an easy setup process or not
the main thing i am realy asking aswell is would you need to set this each time if you started at different locations or is it done automaticaly by gps when unit is switched on

you do not have to reset each time, as you take off just flip into GPS mode if you get to far out of site just turn off the radio and it will return to where it started from and land!! it woks well

hi again sounds realy good
i am looking at getting a gaui 500x or something simlar later on
as a camera platform
to run the quad itself then all gps etc and couple of channels for pan tilt and shutter etc
im in the market for a new radio as at present ive only got a futaba 7c
what radio and how many channels would you recomend

I use the Jr 9503 myself as it performs without issue

Just be sure to plug the battery in where you want it to come back to land , if you plug it in on top of your car that's where it will come back and land.
