Default help getting started

I looking at building my first multi-rooter aircraft. I have flown RC planes for 8 years and only had one electric powered plane. So this is all new terminology so please bear with me.

I have been looking at the SK450 and the KK2. I would be using a Hitech Eclipse 7 and Optima 6 Rx

1. Is this a good first quad & flight controller
2. is the PCB main frame a good upgrade?
I would like to upgrade to the Dead cat conversion for video down the road. Can the KK2 be updated to GPS?

what would be a good battery, ESC, and motor combination for a beginner on the SK450
I am looking for advice.

I thought of that combination but bought a DJI 450 flamewheel with a Naza Light controller and GPS. I was advised to buy those on another website and I'm glad I did, easy to set up and adjust, flys rock steady plus the controller can run a camera gimbal too. I should have my Fat Shark in the mail today so I'm looking forward to FPV flght.

This is a great beginner setup.

Witespy will even set it up for you in the configuration of your choice.

Still studding on this project. Can some one please tell me the difference between the Hobby King Q450 and the DJI Flamewheel 450. Is the extra price of the Flameweel justified
