Default Understand your multicopter controls before you fly - ELSE .........

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dipqNSLrUY0 This was my fault. I was landing in failsafe (RTH) mode and just as it touched down I decided to take control to turn the motors off as it was looking like it was about to topple over. I flipped it out of failsafe mode and then thought I did not have control. I dropped the trottle but the it did not respond. Whilst the throttle was dropped I flipped into ATT mode and the things just dropped out of the sky. I thought that taking it out of failsafe whilst in GPS mode would give me control but it did not. To regain control I had to move into either ATT mode or MAN mode.
I've just read that moving out of failsafe whilst in GPS mode won't give you control again. You have to move to either ATT or MAN mode first.

while GPS is turned on. it has a mind of it's own. you are very lucky it didn't fly off as they normally do.
