I just got the brand new Estes Proto-Z Beginner Micro Quadcopter. As such, I am excited to share my Unboxing, Review, and Maiden Flight video with it as well as the tests I put it through.

This is the big little brother of the very popular Estes Proto-X Nano Drone except this one was designed specifically for beginners.

Here are my review notes for the Proto-Z:

Pros:
- Good yaw rate
- Extremely stable
- Good flight times
- True Direction Mode
- Not very touchy on the controls

Cons:
- Only one flight mode
- Flips lose a lot of elevation
- Doing flips quickly drains the battery
- Not a good night flyer (I crashed it in the dark)
