hi
i just purchased a new but older .91 engine has only 5 tanks ran through it all on a test stand. engine is going in a yellow aircraft edge 540 60 size. i have a few question i need help with.
- what is a good prop for this engine can it handle a 15x4w
- it has the butterfly type carb is this easy to tune any tricks i should know (have other mvvs engines with newer type carb very easy to tune).
- came with the black square dustbin muffler is this any good or should i look at the mini tuned pipe or another type pitts muffler.
thanks for your help

Buddy,
This engine can spin props as large as a 15x10, or a 16x8, but I would consider this pushing to the limit.
16x5 would be best for 3-D, I guess. The 15x4W may be too light.
The carburettor, although no longer in production, has no obvious secrets.
The mini tuned silencer will give a noticeable torque boost in the same RPM range (larger prop - same RPM).
