Default MVVS link needed,,,

will one of you guys give me a link to the MVVS head office,,, please,,,

I have put 11 months of my time and all most $500 in this motor and I am starting to get frustrated (I'm already unhappy) but I'm starting to get to the point where I think I made a mistake buying MVVS, 11 months and only 12 flights and I have NOT flown this year,,,

Morris has replaced my carb and now my motor has LESS power than it did with the stock carb, (same fuel/oil and all fresh), this cab gets very wet with fuel yet it still will not start good, and when it does start it's top RPM is down 800 RPM from the stock carb, this tells me this carb is not producing the power it was with the stock carb,,, I called Morris again and I'm told "just run it",,, I have been around 2 strokes for some 33 years, and I ran all kind of small gasoline 2 stroke's in my RC boats, so I know if you swap carbs and you loose RPM you have lost power,,,

I sit at the field wile my son flies and I watch Sach's, Zenoah's, ZDZ's, BME's, 3W's and they all start,,, me~ 11 months and I don't fly !!!,,, and no one is helping me...

You can send an e-mail to [email protected] if you like. They will probably ask that you send them the engine. I have sold many of the 35cc engines and have had nothing but rave reviews from thier owners, not sure why you are having such a hard time with it! Did you get the correct carb from Morros Hobbies or is it something different? You could ask that the factory send you a new carb to try on your own, if you do make sure you ask for all the appropriate gaskets to go with it.

Good Luck!

no it is not the same carb, it look's to me that this carb has a smaller ID, and it does have a different choke setup~ that I am very unhappy with, there is no way I can choke it and flip the prop at the same time, I really loved the original choke setup,,,

sending my motor all the way back to Check republic is unacceptable !!

thanks for the link !! but if MVVS does send's me a new carb wont it have to come all the way from Check republic ??

First the carb goes from Walbro (USA) to MVVS (Czech republic) stock position, then it is sent back to you in the USA.

What type of carb is on now? it should be a WT 561, which has a large 13.49mm venturi bore.
Earlier engines had only a 9.5mm venturi, so Morris may have sent you an old type carb.

The engine was very well behaved with this smaller carb, so I do not understand why you cannot fly.
To choke if you cannot use the arresting system: Just take the choke valve out, but leave the shaft in. Then you can choke with your thumb.

""The engine was very well behaved with this smaller carb, so I do not understand why you cannot fly"" I have no idea what carb it is, and why should I settle for less power ?? I paid for the power of a red head~ I should get what I paid for !!!

""the carb goes from Walbro (USA) to MVVS (Czech republic) stock position, then it is sent back to you in the USA."" MVVS doesn't keep these carbs in stock so they can send the customers 1 if they need 1~ that sucks !!

yeeup, I'm getting that ol feeling..

well I just called Walbro,,,

they are sending me a new WT561,,,

the women on the phone did say that Walbro did send Morris 12 new WT561, Morris sent me a WT 481, I wonder why Morris didn't send me a WT 561,,,,

so the women from Walbro said if I had a 561 on my motor the 481 would be the wrong carb, because the 481 would produce less power,,, we will see what happens..

as the prop turn's, so does the day's of your lives..

Wasp, is that what MVVS told you, or did you make that up yourself?

Reivers,,, I'm sorry, I thought that is what you meant, if I ordered a carb straight from MVVS~ I would have to wait for MVVS to order it first from Walbro,,,

I'm sorry I have been so inpatient, and I know you guys are trying to help, but this is my only plane, I sold my other plane and I saved my money for a year to buy and build this plane, then I waited 4 months for a Brison 2.4 that never came, so I bought the MVVS, and now it has been just about a year with the MVVS and I still can't fly..

again, I'm sorry I have been so inpatient !!
