Default mvvs source in USA

Hi, every one seems like morrise hobbies closed business.
Is any other source of mvvs engines in USA?

Dimani,

It does seem Morris Hobbies has taken all MVVS products off their web site.

This happened after MVVS began manufacturing their gas engines for Horizon Hobbies, under the EVO name-tag.
Their glow engines are not made for Horizon.

This is somewhat like Moki engines were produced for Morris Hobbies, under the Mark name-tag....

I know nothing about the whereabouts of Carlson Engine Imports, but their web-site shows no mention of MVVS either.

For the time being, you can shop overseas, from me, or a European dealer.
The prices you would be paying are significantly lower, than what you would have paid Morris in the USA, even with overseas shipping charges.

Morris still is official MVVS distributer for USA, but as far as I know they show no MVVS activity any more, except for parts sales.
If you want to buy American, call them.

I got some parts from them this summer, they were great to deal with.

Hi,

The Morris site was running on 3 Feb. 2006--at least for a while.

If you can't find what you want locally, Dar is a great person to do business with.

I second that! Dar is a great businessman. Many smooth purchases with him. In fact, his service is faster than Morris and that's no joke.

Pe,
Why are you so opposed to recommending Horizon Hobby as parts source for the MVVS engines?

Jimnie,

Horizon hobbies only markets Evo gas engines, which are manufactured for them by MVVS, in Brno, Czech Republic.

Parts produced by MVVS for these Evolution gas engines, will fit their MVVS counterparts, which are their identical originals.

But Evolution does not offer any of the MVVS glow and Diesel engines, so their parts/accessories can only be supplied, by MVVS dealers.

You will also find that parts and accessories for the Evo/MVVS gas engines, are usually less costly, when purchased from MVVS dealers around the world.

I am not, it's your opinion only.
Having said that, not all parts are interchangable (I.E. ignition), and Horizon does not stock MVVS glow engine parts like Dar pointed out already.
This thread is about MVVS availability IIRC.
