I have a 2 meter funtana which weighs around 10.5 Lbs with a YS 140 in it and was wondering if the MVVS 26 cc would have enough power to power it well (prop hang with pull away).
The YS weighs 980 grams bare engine ( approx 2Lb). Good engine when it runs, but mind blowingly expensive to run at £26 per gallon, and a gallon doesn't last long.
Is the MVVS 26 cc going to pull it as it will be 8.5 Lb, plus the wieght of the engine, silencer and ignition battery?

My glow 26 cc engine with the #3268 tuned pipe sure will.
I use a Bolly 18x6 wood prop on it.

The gas model of the same will be a bit weaker and I think David Moen has it and can comment.

With the #3270 Pitts muffler (or an aftermarket muffler), power will be down, so I guess it will be a close call.

I should have added that I would like to consider the MVVS 26 cc petrol engine to power the 2 meter funtana.
The finished weight will be 8.5 Lb, plus the complete engine, silencer and ignition setup.

That would make it about 10.5-11 lbs net plus fuel.

This shouldn't be a weight problem.

I have a H9 Funtana 90S with the mvvs 26GT petrol weighs about 11Lbs with 1.60/1.80 tuned pipe from JE and will hover at 1/2 throttle and pull away no problem but defiantly needs the pipe, no good without it.
