What prop should i put on a CMP Zero 1.20 ? it weighs about 5kg complete id say. Im using the standard pitts silencer from mvvs. I was to buy a mejlik and since they are expensive i dont wanna make a wrong choice. Could you please advise?
Does anyone have any numbers on rpm, since this engine is pre-2008 it has to run 8k rpm on the ground. Im interested in scale flight with good speed since its a warbird vertical is important but not so much to me. Thanks in advance.

I have the prop rpm numbers with the 3270 muffler on my web pages www.mvvs.nl , and so does the MVVS factory www.mvvs.cz

Not necessarily. The pre-2008 1.60 is at the design limits for conrod bearing load, so about 1 in 20 engines would be affected. Higher rpm reduces the connecting rod bearing load considerably. So does reducing the compression ratio by adding an extra shim under the head, which can be done without any power loss.
