Can the plastic fuel inlet nipple be replaced? The older ones have brass nipples. I would like to replaced the right-angle plastic one with a straight brass one. The new design makes it harder to install the throttle linkage.

Thanks,

If I had to do it, I would saw off the plastic part, and press in a brass tube.
The plastic part will probably break if you try to twist it out

Thanks Pe, you saved me a lot of grief, I almost broke it off.
