HI, Does anyone know the E-Mail address for an expert who has written articles on balancing model airplanes?? Why?- I have a pusher-type plane "Challenger 11" from Nitro Planes. The instructions recommended C.G. at 105mm, but the cord of the wing is 303 mm which should make MAC at 85mm. Recently I have seen a simular "Challenger 11" crash. It had 15 seconds of uncrollable flight- I have no idea why- but I suspect it was an improper C.G. coupled with huge reccomended throws. Help please before maiden flight- thanks again guys!

Could you post a link to the plane?
I do not see it on their site.
The only Challenger is the Pitts.
When I use Google the only reference I find is for a Challenger II from Hobby Lobby... not Nitroplanes.com.

I bought the plane from Nitroplane for about $109.00 and they no longer sell it! Anyway, I thought it was cute, and I am converting it to electric and I want to use it as a digital camera ship. I don't know if it is the exact same plane being sold by Hobby Lobby (just morre expensive!) I'll check it out.
Thank you for replying!!

If it looks like the Hobby Lobby version then I think I know which one you are talking about...
There was a thread here where everyone was discussing the C.G. issues with this plane.
