Default Nitromodels Spitfire 120

Dear Sir,
I purchased a Spifire 120 from your company a year and a half ago. I only started assembling it three nights ago as I had to save for the Century Jet retracts, the OS 120 four stroke and new digital servos. I have run into a problem. One of the flaps is built opposite from the way it should be. I cannot get full deflection on the right hand flap because it is built as if it were a left flap. in other words the bevel on the leading edge of the flap is backwards. I do not know how to scratch build so that is not an option. I see that you have been sold out of this model for some time. Please help me?
Thanks in advance,
David R Smith

Hi David,

WHat's your order number? if not you can send me you name and address and i'll look it up. So one of your wing's flaps is wrong? instead of one left and one right flap, you got both flaps for ne side?

John

That is correct, the flap for the right wing is incorrectly built. It has the leading edge of a left wing flap.
Thank you,
David

If you look at the picture the one with the blue side up is the incorrect one. As you can see from the bevel it will not allow full deflection. The camo one for the left wing has the correct bevel.
Thank you,
David

Your order number is 166127. I see that another rep has noted this problem and they are working on it.

Thanks

Hi John,

I just bough a used spitfire MKII from a guy in my club that he said he bought from your store long time ago and he converted to electric, now I wanted to make it back to nitro with OS 120 4 stroke, the problem i ran into is i can't locate the engine because it modified for electric motor, Can you help me with some dimensions to locate the engine correctly and do i need the adapter or mount the engine mount direct to the firewall.

Thanks

Hi John, I got the engine mount, just need the dimensions to mount it. Do you have the dimension from the top of the fuselage to the center of the shaft?
