Default Shipping to the UK?!

Why can`t Nitro Planes ship nitro 40+ planes to the uk? I`ve ordered kits from all over the world and upto 1/3 scale from the states with no probs!.Ups,Fed Ex,Dhl-they all ship world wide+EMS.Whats the reason Nitro cant ship?? I would order from them as some of the kits I want are not available in the uk,they`re missing out on new business.Whats the problem??

Some businesses don't want the extra hassel? Apparently shipping overseas is a costly item, maybe the extra packing needed they don't want to do. Maybe they don't want the hassel of trying to collect money from overseas. Who knows? I think in Nitro's case, the only person that can deal with the public ( maybe speaks English) is John & it looks like he has his hands full. I've seen a lot of negative stuff on them, but, also seen a lot of positive stuff. Maybe, if you have a buddy in the States ,you could get them to buy your plane & forward it to you.

USPS doesn't ship arf plane that's 25 Size over because this exceed their limits under their policy. We don't ship UPS and Fedex because it's too expensive.

Surely John,if the customer is prepared to pay the Ups or fed ex costs, shouldn`t you at least offer this so the customer can decide for themselves?

FYI: Steve not that I disagree with you, but in the past this has lead to rather angry posts about "rip-off" shipping charges.

You can't win with some, and that causes others to suffer.

The shipping cost for an ARF to UK is about 2 to 3 times the cost for the plane itself and how can this be a good deal? Plus having an arf shipped across the atlantic is not efficient and it will suffer lots of damage.
