Default WHERE IS THE "ON/OFF" switch?

As crazy of a question as this sounds, the F/A 18C manuel says to make sure you turn off the "on/off" switch ON THE AIRCRAFT before connecting the battery. I have looked everywhere and cannot find the switch.... Does anyone know?

It is possible that connecting the battery is like turning the switch on. Some electrics are that way.

I beleve you can buy a j-plug on-off switch you can install between the Rx unit and the battery.
