From: Rockton, IL,
I purchased the 50cc Ultimate during the Black Friday sale. I assembled it with a DA 50. I took it to Florida for the FX3D where it did it's maiden flight. After about 6 flights the plywood root rib began to tear at the front attachement point. It was glued back together and flown again. After landing from the 8th flight my friend noticed that the bottom right wing was sagging. Upon disassembly we discovered that the wing tube socket is brocken away from the anchor point on the 3rd rib and the 2nd rib is broken where the tube socket goes thru it. I know the plane was inexpensive but I feel it should last more than 8 flights. These were not hard flights, not even a snap roll. I await your reply on a resolution to my problem.
Thank You
Chuck

John,
New wings will solve the problem if they are glued together better than the set I have.
My order number is yhst-17210252890263-60246, order date 11/28/2008.
Let me know if you need anything further.
Thank You, Chuck

When you get them, apply an additional layer of epoxy around the tube roots on the interior.
That is what I did with mine and it has held up very well for hundreds of flights.
I don't think it's needed, but it's a precaution.

John,I recieved the new wings today, from what I can see and measure from the outside of the wings they do not have the problem that the first set had. Thank You for your prompt and welcome solution to my problem.
Thanks again, Chuck
P.S. There is no mention in the manual or picture showing where the wing joiner (wedge shaped piece of wood) that fits in the top wing goes.

can someone help me, I want to be sure about the wing's.I bought the 50 cc ultimate it look's like a great plane but the instructions are very non discriptive on anything to do with the assembly(a few pictures and a few icons to show where to glue). I don't want to make a mistake on the assembly so i am not sure if the top wing's are to be glued together seeing that the bottom wing has a tube thier is no instruction on that at all. Could someone that is more intelligent than I please get back with me on this. Thank you James
