Default Catalina Aileron Servo

I have a Catalina plane and recently one of the aileron servos stopped functioning. I want to order another one but I can't seem to find anyone that can help me. The servo that I want to replace doesn't have any kind of model or item number on it and I want to get one that matches the original. Can anyone please give me an idea of what to do. I can't get any responce from the company that makes the plane. The phone is always busy and the web site "live chat" just puts me on hold and say that they will be right with me, but, that never happens! I'm very new to this and I am anxious to fly my plane. Many thanks to anyone that can help me.

I don't have that plane so I cannot answer directly...

However most of these planes use fairly standard sized servos.

You are always best off replacing them in pairs if you are working on matched areas such as the ailerons.

If you are replacing only a single elevator server, then you can purchase a single servo.

How about taking a close up photo of one of the existing servos and posting it here?

This should provide enough info to direct you to a replacment.

Thank you so much for your reply, my friend. I am happy to say, that because of my post to this forum, I have received an email from the company with a phone number with which I could communicate with them. I got through right away and the young lady that I talked to was able to find out the part that I needed and so I ordered a matching pair of servos (thanks to your advise). The whole thing is only costing me $9.95, including shipping and I thought that was great! I must say that she was very, very, pleasant. Thanks again for your reply.
Happy Flying,

You can always PM your order number and I'll help you out as well.
