Hey Nitro planes. I sent an email to you and still have yet to hear back. That was like a week ago.
Anyway, Im looking to buy some of your ARF's and it seems like you take forever to get new stock. Some of them have be sold out for months. I've order from you in the passed and really like your ARFs but It sure would be nice if you could get some of the one that have been sold out for months back in stock so I can order them. If your not planing to buy more then can you at least either post "discontinued" or just take them down from the site so we're not left waiting and we can order something else. PLEASE let us know when and if your expecting a new shipment. Thanks a ton...

There are plenty of threads about this here already.
All ARF vendors are currently having problems obtaining shipments from China due to the economy there.
Many of the ARF plants have laid off workers anticipating reduced demand.
As a result Horizon, Tower, Nitroplanes, etc. are all having problems getting shipments.
John ( Nitrostaff1 ) has chimed in about this in the other threads.

Also,
Another reason everyone is having Probs getting anything is because the shipping container fee's went from $3,000 to $9,000 from all the shipping companies. There are some Mfg's in all american Ind. in my area considering coming back home because of this increase!!!

I thank you guys for the reply. At least I now know why they've been sold out.
My problem isnt so much that they're sold out. I just wish that they would respond to my emails. The only question I still have now is do they have date or round about time frame they will be expecting more?

I just unsubscribed to this forum on nitromodels.
When will they restock ?
I have been watching for three years now to see if they would ever get the Ryan back in stock. I check their web page everynow and then and with all that they have marked "sold out", how can they be selling anything?
It isn't the shipping or anything else. They buy overstocks. If there aren't any they don't have anything to sell. I do thank them tho, By going back to scratch building, I can control the quality and worksmanship. I have seen them add more and more items and have watched them add an airplane and it be sold out that afternoon. It is all show and no go. All the flashy web pages and all the advertising lures people in and when EVERYTHING that someone might want is sold out, they settle for their fourth or fifth choice. That is what they count on. The people who don't have time to build buying "cast-off's"
SO, keep in mind, they have been out of stock and sold out on some airplanes for YEARS,
Go American, and go flying !

Here Here!!
I bought a CMP from them couple o' years ago and ended up cancelling the e-mail update notices for the very same reason.
I just assumed that they (and their sister site Raidentech) never EVER restock items. They still show stuff "sold out" that is going on like 2 years now. Ill stick with Tower & Horizon.

I am really interested in the T-28 Mentor w/retracts - which of course is sold out. Any realistic projection of if and when you expect to get this plane back in stock. This is the "New 2009 CMPro U.S. Navy T-34 Mentor 40 - 58" Nitro Gas Fiberglass Radio Controlled Airplane w/ Retracts! ARF-Version".
Response appreciated.
