Default A note to your shipping department

You may want to stop putting Fragile stickers on the boxes going out UPS.

I received the Green and White replacement Giles 202 140 size Fuse you found for me. Thanks John!

It looks like UPS kicked the box at each sticker and ran it over with everything they could find. My Wife was home but they didn't ring the bell for a signature. Dump and run.

I took pictures and then started to open it. I was very surprised to find very little damage. There were a couple of cracks in the wood and a small break near the latch for the canopy on both sides. I can fix it and it is in much better shape than the fuse I crashed. Really minor compared to what the box had me expecting.

Maybe Kick Me stickers would work better. They seem to do the opposite of what is on the box. UPS gave it their best shot but the Fuse survived!

You guys did a great job and made me a happy customer. I am so happy you could get me the fuse for a discontinued plane. I can't wait to get her back in the air.

Thats exactly what those *******s do...if you put the fragil sign on it, it will get damaged. I have seen this so, so many times.

That is so true. The most damaged boxes I have ever received were marked fragile all over them. Lucky for me the Nitro shipping dept. did a good job protecting it with peanuts and bubble wrap. UPS gave it their best but couldn't break the fuse.

Looks like the box on an EXTRA 300S I ordered this summer! I also suspect the damage was done because it says MADE IN CHINA on the carton. But the FRAGILE stickers were punched and carton shorted by about 10", both ends crushed in. I suppose this gets even with hobbyist for buying Chinese models and putting all of the American ARF Mfg. out of business. But aren't we providing business to UPS?

Unfortunately true American ARF manufacturers disappeared in the LAST CENTURY, though kit companies remain.

Nah, I'm convinced that shipping companies see "Fragile" stickers as "Damage me!" symbols!
