Bax,
Can you give us more information about this? Which engines are made in China, and are they just assembled in China or using Chinese aluminum and steel? I really love O.S. engines and only a few of the engines that I own are not O.S. If I were to purchase a new engine, which should it be? A 55AX or the 65FX what are the designations AX and FX really mean?

We don't have a list. The only way to check would be to go through all the boxes on the shelf.

The engine designations are only signify the design-series. No special meaning.

Thanks Bax,

I sure miss the old days when the RE stood for Rear Exhaust and SE meet Side exhaust.

What makes the O.S. Gold Head .61 Special Edition, so special?

The O.S. Max .61 FSR Special Edition was "special" because it was produced a few years after the regular production of the .61 FSR ceased. They brought it back for a limited time.

We have no idea what you are asking about. What is "COO"?
