OS GGT 15 repair
I have an OS GGT 15 glow gas engine. I am trying to disassemble the engine to replace a cracked crank case. I have the engine apart except for the connecting rod and bearings.
This is the first model engine I have come across with a crank pin stop screw. I am having a problem removing the crank pin stop screw from the crank pin. I applied some heat with a pencil tip torch, but it still wouldn’t budge. Is this screw right-hand or left-hand? Do I need to turn it clockwise or counterclockwise? Is this screw held in with lock tight? Also, how much torque is needed to replace the screw?
Thanks for any information you can provide.
