I would like to know how far in the needle valve assembly should protrude into the carb ventury. Ther is quite a large range available by screwing in the assembly and locking it with the external locknut. I have been looking at some other of my engines and they vary... Is there a general guideline for this adjustment, or are all carbs different?
Thanks,

Default OS .40 FP

Open the carb full throttle and look down through the hole at the
needle spray bar. It should protrude into the opening just under half way.
