Default Prop size questions

AnnMarie,

How do you do it all?!?! Hope you enjoy this and aren't giving up too much flying time.

Proping questions:

1) I have an old, but NIB OS .28FSR I've put in an New Era III (old 1970s Don Dewey design 45"WS, 400 sq In) that really screams, but has sagged a little near the end of the run. I quickly got off throttle and brought it in and richened a little more. I'm running 15% nitro and a 9x6 MA prop, but haven't tached it yet. Is this too much prop and what rpm should I expect.

2) I have a Kaos 40 with OS .46FX running a 11x7 MA prop. No complaints, but boy! isn't that a lot of prop for a .46. I've got an unrun ST 61 ABC and don't they recommend an 11x7 for that? Again, great flying combo, but am I overpropping it?

Thanks for all your work,
Joel
