Hi.

I am currently building a GP Ultimate 40. I plan on using an O.S 70 4-stroke engine, but from all the pics i've seen the mufflers are all standard ones sticking out from the cowling.
The engine is situated horizontally in this plane. Is there on the market somthing like a Pitts style or flex type muffler that you would think will meet my request?
- I realize that some of the exhaust will be protrude the cowling, but I'm just looking for a prettier way to do it...

I have seen pitts style mufflers for 4 stroke have not used myself,don't see why they will not work. Definitely look better

We're sorry, but we'd not know of an in-cowl muffler for your O.S. Max FS-70. You'd have to search through the third-party makers for such a muffler, if one exists. We've seen ones for the FS-120 by Jtec, but not the FS-70.

I believe OS 70 & 91 has the same exhaust manifold thread of 11mm.
If you want something different, try the Hatori In-cowl muffler for YS 53/63.
YS 53/63 also has 11mm exhaust port. Lots of YS 53/63 users used OS 70/91 exhaust manifold with muffler.
Central Hobbies carry it.
