Two months ago, I bought a new Raptor 50 with an OS 46FX-H engine. I have runed the engine with 13 tanks and I am having difficulty with it's mixture.
When the engine is cool, the idle mixture is very reach and the engine often quits after removing the glow plug. After it warms up, the idle becomes somewhat better. The midrange and the high end seems ok at any time. I donīt want to close too much the low end mixture because I am afraid it could lean the midrange also and damage the engine.
I have heard of some mixture problems with this engine or maybe it's not fully broken in yet. I am using Powermaster 15% heli fuel and I believe the throtle and pitch curves are adjusted properly. The carb has "40C" stamped on it's side.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
