Default OS 46 FX

I am having problems getting my new 46 FX running right. The problem that I am having is the low speed area. I can get it to idle, but when you give it throtle quickly to half way it bogs down and sometimes dies. I have got the needle valve set right, from half throtle to full throtle it runs great. I am pretty sure that it is in the mixture control screw that I need to adjust. I have reset it to as per the manual at 1 1/2 turns out and I still have the problem. If I slowly turn it counter clockwise in 15 degree increments it still has the bogging problem. If I turn it clockwise about 30 degrees from the inital 1 1/2 turns and then give it a little throtle it dies.

This is a new engine that has about 6 tanks of fuel ran through it. I am using coolpower 15% nitro, and I am using an OS A3 glow plug.

I am lost and don't know what else to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

To set a carburetor with a high-speed needle and an idle mixture adjustment, you have to start out with the idle mixture too rich. Get the top-end leaned to just rich of peak RPM, and then retard the throttle and work on leaning the low-end.

The engine won't have the best idle until it's had a chance to become broken-in. This would be after about an hour's worth of running.
