Default OS 37SZ-H-RING RUNNING PROBLEMS

HI HAVE BOUGHT OS 37 FOR MY HELI ITS A CENTURY AIRWOLF . I HAVE RUN 1 GALLON OF 10% DURAGLOW THROUGH IT AND IT RUNS VERY WELL FOR 10 MINS.I THEN COME AND LAND AND LOWER THE THROTTLE AND IT CUTS OUT. I HAVE REPLACED THE GLOWPLUG (ENYA NO3) AND IT STILL HAPPENS. ALL THE CARB SETTINGS ARE STILL AT BOOK SETTINGS. THERE IS PLENTY OF SMOKE BUT ENGINE DOES SEEM VERY HOT. PLUS WHEN I DO MANAGE TO LAND WITH OUT STALLING THE ENGINE MAKES POPPING NOISE.ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GRATFULLY RECEIVED .

"Book" settings on any model carburetor are only starting points. You will have to adjust the carburetor to get the proper performance. The high-speed needle should be leaned so that the engine is rich of peak RPM at full throttle and doesn't overheat. The low-speed needle should be adjusted to give a good idle consistent with tood acceleration and midrange. Many people try to idle their engines too slowly, which causes difficulty with acceleration and midrange.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ADVICE. HAVE FLOWN THIS EVENING AFTER ADJUSTING THE HIGH SPEED NEEDLE HALF A TURN RICHER. THERE WAS A VAST IMPROVMENT. IT DIDN'T STALL OR OVER HEAT. THE HIGH SPEED NEEDLE IS TWO CLICKS OFF TWO TURNS OPEN .PUT TWO TANKS THROUGH WITH NO PROBLEMS.STILL SOME FINE TUNNING TO DO BUT IT LOOKS LIKE IT MIGHT BE SORTED. THANKS AGAIN.
