I bought the engine about two months ago at a local hobby store, which is now closed, but just got it out of the box and started breaking it in on the stand today. I runs great, but the carb won't close completely. Is there any adjustment I can make, or is this a bigger problem?

The screw on a spring that sticks up and is angled slightly aft is the throttle stop screw. Adjust this until your throat completely closes.

The OS FX .46 is a 2-needle carburetor setup. The high-speed needle is used to adjust from maximum throttle, it is the one mounted remotely. The 2nd needle is used to adjust the idle mixture, it is located at the center of your throttle lever.
