Default V-Spec

I just got a max 21vzb v-spec (13890) and Im putting it back together. Its new, never seen fuel yet, got it from tower hobby. I take all engines apart and check for any metal shards or other matter that shouldnt be in the case.
Anyhow, I was wanting to know if I dip the cooling head in some navel jelly or other type of anodize stripper if it would hurt the cooling head?
I just think it would look better in a raw finish vs the blue. Any insight? Thanks.

Default RE: V-Spec

If you remove the anodized finish, you will not likely damage the cooling of the engine. However, it may look terrible because the chemical may also etch the aluminum below.
