O.S. recommends these props: 15x10-12 or 16x8-10. You want the engine to be in the 8,000's when on the ground and leaned to just rich of the peak RPM.

First off thanks for replying! I know what the engine manuals say I just wanted to know what prop people are using on the engine. I believe that first hand experience beats out manufactures recomandations. You know like manuals for engines dont give specs for 3D props, or planes that you want to 3D with, so to speak. I know different planes and styles of flying vary and this determines alot about what prop to use, but Im just asking to see what the majority are running with this engine. Thanks

I have run several best for 3D are:
17x6 = 9200rpm
16.5x5.5 = 9300rpm

I am running the stock pipe, I tried thebisson pitts but that was not as good.

I am still looking for a good pattern prop. with the props listed above I atually loose too much speed for thebig pattern manuvers.
