CZ
I will try here . I have been trying to obtain pertinent information concerning my OS CZ. Besides the basics like displacement. I see very little mention of this model and I am concerned that this is a BAD engine prone to breakage or underpowered or unreliable. It appears to be much like a heli motor and they have a reputation for being very high powered. What gives?[]

RE: CZ
WHICH O.S. Max CZ engine are you asking about? The bulk of CZ engines were for R/C cars/trucks. There was also a CZ-A air engine, and a few boat engines. They were all of .12 or .15 displacement.
The very early CZ-2 engines had problems with the connecting rod, but that was quickly solved by O.S. Other versions didn't have particular problems in the engines themselves. Problems with the engines were almost always user caused...mostly by too-lean running or dirt ingestion.
You don't see much discussion about them because the latest versions were discontinued nearly ten years ago.
