Which carb??

They do have a stack for the new 56 four stroke which fits the older 52 four stroke. Maybe others also. Don't know if the other new crop of O.S four strokes has the stacks or not.

FS52 Looked at Tower but did not find anything.

All the flying down here is off tidal flats or a sandy asphalt strip. Some filters would help as well.

Just checked tower, the 81fs has a stack also, but it isn't listed in the pars list yet. Check the carb body part number for the 70 and then for the 81. If it like the 52, the stack and the barrel are the differences, so the stack will fit the 70 also.

O.S. does not have separate velocity stacks for their carburetors.

Also, please be aware that this is not a discussion thread. Please leave any answering to the O.S. Support representatives.

Bax, you are wrong. I purchased a stack from tower a month or so back that was listed in teh 56 parts and I installed it on my O.S. 52 Carb, which has the same part number for the body. They are both "N" carbs. The 56 version in addition to the stack has a different barrel which changes the mix ratio in the mid range some. I haven't seen the parts list for the 81 yet, but I'm betting money that the same situation exist there where the carb is based on the 70's carb.

Air Funnel for the 40NA Carburetor used on the O.S. Max .56 FS engine.
Bax,
what are the differences between the 40N carb and the 40NA that would preclude use of the air funnel on a 40N carb? What is the I.D on the funnel and the length of the attachment surface?
Thanks
