Hello, I have a brand new 28F engine in the box never run. I was looking for a lil information on this engine. I was told it was a good older model engine. Is there a place I can find out about this engine? What does the "F" stand for........FUN ?
Thanks Tim

Tim,

About the only information still available is in the instruction sheet with the engine. We don't have the specific sizes (bore, stroke, etc.) around here any more. The enigne's been out of production for nearly two decades.

The "F" is merely part of it's model designation. We really don't know what O.S. meant by it, unless it's for "front" intake.
