The initial settings of the 11K carburetor on the O.S. Max .21 TM engine are:

High-speed needle: 1/2 turn in from flush with the needle body
Metering needle: Flush with the body.

Is it safe to say that the 11K carb on the .21TM is the same as the 11K on the .18TM? I have searched this thread for the .18TM carb settings and every response is "look in the manual". Well, the .18TM manual doesn't have the HSN setting in it, only the LSN and mid. I just want to make sure that its the same carb on the .21 and .18.

An 11K carb is an 11K carb is an 11K carb.

You really don't need settings for the high-speed needle. Just start out with it in a rich position and go from there. We use 2 turns or so out from the closed position. That's very rich, and we know we'll have to lean it from there.

I understand what you are saying, but there are PPL out there (like me) who want a number so we can go back to it every time we need to.
Thanks for the reply!
