Will gasoline damage O rings?
I would like to run my new FF-320 on gasoline with spark ignition.
Looks like there are about 2 dozen O rings and 4 manifold seals in this engine.
Will the gas and petroleum based lubricants damage the O rings or the
manifold seals?

RE: Will gasoline damage O rings?
It's not necessarily the lubricants (oil) in glow and gas pre-mix fuels (although the additives can sometimes have an effect), it's more the aromatic hydrocarbons in petroleum (gasoline) that has the effect on seals / O'rings (as I understand it).
The seals used in contact with Methanol / Nitro wil not necessarily stand up to gasoline, and they should be replaced with the Buna-N (a form of Nitrile) . . if they aren't already.
Check what O'ring material is fitted, and check with a seal company for suitability and alternatives.
Cheers, JB
