Default 52 Surpass Tappet Gap

Hi, I have a 52 Surpass that has a lot of slop on the tappets. Can you please tell me what gap they are supposed to be and is there a manual I can download for this engine? It is a few years old.

Thanks

The valve settings between two numbers. You use two feeler gauges: 0.04mm and 0.10mm. The small one fits and the large one doesn't. You turn the engine so that one valve is closed and the other is fully-opened, and set the closed valve. Then rotate the engine to reverse the positions. You can also turn the engine so that the piston is at Top Dead Center with both valves closed. You then set both.
