Default OS 61VR-M Engine

I seem to need a new piston and sleeve for this engine. Got too hot and now the chrome from the top of the sleeve came off. Now it idles and revs up ok, but when I let off the throttle it dies. Any idea where I can find one???

The engine's been out of production for quite a few years. We'd not know where parts for it could be obtained. You'll have to ask in the RCU Marketplace or do a search online at eBay or other auction/sales sites. Some hobby retailers hunt down parts for the engine collectors' market. They advertise in small ads in the magazines or the classified sections of those magazines.

It just makes me upset that I saw the piston sleeve on tower in May. Just bad timing.
