Default Connecting Piston rod

Hi!

I'm in the process of changing bearings on my OS .50 SX (great engine by the way ). The problem is that i can't remember which way the piston rod should be connected. After I had taken it out i noticed that there was a difference in the front and back-side of if, but I cant remember which is which ...

I hope someone can help.

regards

Default Connecting Piston rod

The crankpin hole at the bottom of the connecting rod will have a small chamfer on the inside of the brass bushing on one side of the rod. The other side will have the bushing milled flush with the side of the rod. The side with the chamfer goes towards the crankshaft, and the flush side goes towards the rear cover.

Hope this helps you.
