Hey Bax, just curious what size prop and what rpm's I should attempt to obtain running my 0s 52 surpass on a World Models Piper cub 48 (71" wingspan)

Any help is appreciated.

Propeller selection should first be done so that the engine runs well. Try an 11 x 8 or possibly a 12 x 7 prop. You want to run the engine in the high-9,000's to low 10,000's. Any prop that turns the engine there will be good. Any pitch of 7-8 should fly the plane OK.

Thanks, alot of guys on this board were talking about a 12X6, but i wanted to get your input.

Hey, BTW, does the 3 second rule work (roughly) on the 4 strokes when attempting to get correct idle AFR like on the 2 strokes...

Also, I use cool power in all my 2 stroke engines, and Omega in my 4 strokes...

Is Omega okay to run in 4 strokes, or can I just run the cool power in all my motors?
